IEP Goal Writing Workshop

FREE – IEP Goal Writing Workshop

with Mark Woodsmall, Esq.

Please join Advocacy For Autism and Woodsmall Law Group for a complimentary workshop on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 7:00 in the evening to 8:30. Mark Woodsmall, founder of Woodsmall Law Group, is the parent of a child with special needs and is an active member in the special needs community.

The Individual Educational Program (IEP) Goal Writing workshop is designed to educate and inform guardians of children with special needs about the IEP process and how goals are written. This workshop led by Mark Woodsmall, Esq. of Woodsmall Law Group, will answer many of the questions that come up when drafting IEP goals. As goal writing can be confusing and difficult, this workshop will help parents and caregivers create, simplify, and write effective goals for their child’s IEP. This workshop seeks to breakdown the anatomy of an IEP goal; from the present levels of performance, to the baseline, to the goal itself, and finally how the goals are measured.

Date: Monday, January 9, 2017 from 7-8:30 p.m.

Location: Temple Beth Israel, 3033 N. Towne Ave., Pomona
